BMX TRACK
Our gravel BMX track is located at the centre of the Play Pit. You don’t have to be an experienced rider or use a BMX bicycle to ride a BMX track. All ages, skill levels and bicycles can be used to ride it.
The BMX track is a great way for any cyclist to have fun and to hone in pumping, cornering, manualing or jump skills.
Our start ramp is equipped with a manual start gate. But you don’t have to start on the start ramp or use the start gate. You can enter at any point (provided you don’t obstruct traffic) and just have fun.
The BMX track was inspired and supported by the Namibia Cycling Federation. It is aimed at promoting cycling as a sport to underprivileged youths throughout Namibia.

PUMP TRACK
Want to get better at shredding trails? Then do a few loops around the pump track. What is a pump track? This little circuit of rollers and banked turns might not look like much, but you will be surprised by how much it can teach you about using momentum instead of pedalling. And if done properly, it gives you a full-body workout and gets your heart pumping.

JUMP LINE
For those adrenalin junkies out there who need to catch air – try our progressive jump lines. A note of caution on the jump lines:
Familiarize yourself with all the obstacles before attempting to ride or jump them.
Take a walk-through and check if all the infrastructure is in place and check that the landing area is safe and free from sharp or dangerous objects.
Start small and work your way up to the bigger jumps to ensure they are within your skill set.
Be alert and on the lookout for people, dogs or other riders crossing the jump line. It is best to have a buddy to so you can help warn passersby or each other of any traffic crossing the jump line.
